We’ve raised $1.11 million (₹10.5 crore) in our seed round.
The round was led by a family office, with participation from multiple angels, including Sekhar Garisa, Managing Director at Claypond Capital, investing in his personal capacity.
It’s more than a funding milestone. It’s validation of the category we’re building: wealth protection for families.
Why We Started This
Two of us were in a near-fatal accident.
The question that followed was not dramatic. It was administrative.
If we hadn’t survived, would our families have even known what we owned?
Not “would they get it.” Would they know?
We went looking for a product that could answer that question. We couldn’t find one.
The three of us are childhood friends. We’ve built and sold companies before, in India and the US, and this is the third one we’re building together. It’s the first one that started with a question about our own families rather than a gap in a market.
Families in India spend thirty years building wealth and about thirty minutes thinking about whether the people they love could find it.
We’re not building a way to find lost money. We’re building a way to never lose sight of it.
The Problem Nobody Is Solving
India has 40+ apps to help you grow your wealth. Not one to protect it.
₹86,917 crore is sitting unclaimed in the RBI’s Depositor Education and Awareness Fund, and that’s bank deposits alone.
That money didn’t go missing because families lacked a search portal. It went missing because nobody ever had a map of what existed in the first place.
Every tool built so far helps you find something you already suspect exists.
We work on the other side of that.
What Safebox Does Today
Safebox brings a family’s financial life together in one place, so information about their wealth doesn’t have to live across multiple apps, institutions, files and, most importantly, one person’s memory.
- Most of it pulls in on its own: We’re built on the RBI’s Account Aggregator framework, so much of your financial data flows in through regulated, consent-based rails instead of being entered manually.
- One view of everything: Bank accounts across multiple phone numbers, portfolios across multiple PANs, stocks, ETFs, EPF from multiple employers, NPS, insurance, liabilities and more.
- Nominee mapping: Every holding is matched to a nominee, so you can see what’s current and what’s fifteen years out of date.
- Family access: A spouse or family member can locate what they need during an emergency.
Your financial life shouldn’t exist in one person’s head.
The Obvious Question: Is This Safe?
It’s the first thing anyone asks, and it should be.
Safebox operates through BEYONDCO Technologies Private Limited, registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser (INA000021809).
We’re built on the RBI’s Account Aggregator framework, which means your data moves on consent-based, read-only rails. Safebox is designed for visibility, not transaction access.
We can see what you own. We cannot move it, trade it, or touch it.
You decide who in your family sees what, and you can change that at any time.
A meaningful share of this round is allocated to security. We hold the records a family would otherwise keep scattered across bank records, documents, emails and files, and we intend to protect them to that standard.
That means continued investment in encryption, access controls, independent security audits and formal compliance certification. We treat this as an ongoing obligation rather than a one-time milestone.
Why This Milestone Matters
We launched publicly in June 2026 with one idea:
An Indian family should always know what it owns.
Since then:
- ₹6,000 crore+ in family assets recorded on the platform
- 55 categories tracked, from bank accounts to insurance to documents
- Grown almost entirely on word of mouth and family invites
Those aren’t just numbers.
Each one is a family that decided its financial life should not live in one person’s head.
So, What’s Next?
Two priorities: product and distribution.
Product
Most of the industry has built for wealth creation; comparatively little has been built for the record layer beneath it, the information families need to understand and protect what they already own.
We’re extending coverage on both paths: automated ingestion through additional institutional integrations, and AI-assisted capture for holdings that still require manual entry, reducing the effort involved to a fraction of what it is today.
The goal is simple: make it effortless for a family to build and maintain a complete financial map.
A meaningful share of this round is also allocated to strengthening the security infrastructure behind Safebox. We’re continuing to invest in encryption, access controls, independent security audits and formal compliance certification.
We hold information that families trust us with, and we intend to protect it to the standard that responsibility demands.
Distribution
We also want Safebox to reach families through the people and institutions they already trust.
That means building partner networks and corporate tie-ups that can bring Safebox into more families’ financial lives.
This funding doesn’t change who we are or what we’re building.
It helps us build it faster.

What We’re Building Toward
Our ambition is bigger than another financial dashboard.
We want Safebox to become the financial record a family can rely on across generations, a place where a family can know what it owns and what it owes, where it all sits, who can access it, and what needs attention.
Because building wealth takes decades. Making sure your family can find it shouldn’t.
If you’ve read this far, you’ve probably already run the exercise in your head.
There’s an old account somewhere. An investment you haven’t looked at in years. A nominee who may no longer be the right person. A policy or document that exists in a file, an email, or someone else’s memory.
That gap doesn’t close on its own.
